QUALITY ENGINEER
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Product Assurance (PA) support for assigned projects by ensuring effective flow-down and flow-up of quality requirements between the customer, project team, and supply chain
- Perform project assessments, inspections, and product reviews within assigned projects.
- Participate in product specification reviews to ensure technical completeness and accuracy.
- Analyze products for compliance with applicable quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct project quality audits and provide reports including findings and recommendations.
- Analyze product non-conformities and ensure implementation of corrective actions through the Non-Conformance Review Board (NRB), supporting the reduction of internal and external quality costs.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone Diagram), and 8D Reports.
- Participate in project reviews throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., PDR, MRR, TRR, DRB).
- Support assembly, verification, validation, and testing activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor and company management in accordance with the position profile and employee competencies.
- Prepare quality documentation for proposals and throughout the project lifecycle, including:
- Declared Parts Lists (DPL), Product Assurance Plans (PA Plans), Critical Items Lists (CIL), Compliance Matrices, Inspection and Audit Reports
- Cooperate with external stakeholders regarding Quality Management System (QMS) matters.
- Review product assurance and quality assurance requirements.
- Participate in project reviews and maintain configuration control of technical documentation.
- Manage non-conformities and coordinate customer communication through preparation of required documentation and management of corrective actions.
- Oversee product testing plans and execution.
- Perform quality evaluations and assessments of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct reliability analyses, including FMEA and related methodologies.
- Deliver training related to quality assurance systems and processes.
- Support the Quality Department in preparation for ISO 9001:2015 audits.
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in quality assurance within technical or engineering projects.
- Good command of English (mandatory), including technical terminology sufficient for reading, preparing, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of technical drawing.
- Knowledge of quality standards and frameworks, including ECSS, AQAP, and ISO 9001.
- Understanding of project lifecycle management, including project phases, reviews, and key documentation.
- Experience in non-conformance management and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and assume responsibility for project quality.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in preparing and maintaining documentation.
- Accuracy, analytical thinking, assertiveness, and strong observation skills.
- High level of motivation, task-oriented mindset, commitment, and proactive approach.
- Ability to make decisions based on available data and evidence.
- Ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for product and process quality.

- Basic knowledge of project management, including space projects (phases, reviews, documentation).
- Knowledge of systems engineering, reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS).
- Knowledge of CE marking requirements and applicable regulations.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, particularly AS9100.
- Familiarity with quality engineering and quality assurance tools and techniques.
- Experience as a Product Assurance Manager (PA Manager) or Quality Assurance Manager in space projects.
- Experience with management systems, particularly those compliant with ISO 9001 and ECSS standards.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, reliability, and safety disciplines.
- Experience as an auditor or Quality Management Representative.
- Experience in planning and executing tests, as well as preparing test plans and procedures.
