Job Requirements – IT Support Specialist
Key Requirements:
- Education: Minimum secondary technical education or a university degree in a related field (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar), or at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic PC administration.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN, TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
- Ability to configure peripheral devices (printers, scanners, monitors).
- Strong communication skills and experience in working with end-users.
- Excellent work organization and ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform effectively under time pressure.
- Solid awareness of IT security principles.
- Ability to remain calm and maintain a professional approach during emergencies.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
Nice to have / Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., OTRS).
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
- Familiarity with remote user support tools.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing hardware and software support to end-users.
- Installing and configuring workstations (PCs/laptops) and software.
- Maintaining IT hardware inventory and software license logs.
- Managing system, office, and utility software licenses.
- Handling and resolving service requests (tickets).
- Configuring user accounts and permissions (Office365, Active Directory).
- Preparing and setting up workstations for new employees (onboarding).
- Maintaining basic technical documentation.
Financial & Employment Terms:
- Salary: PLN 7,000 – 10,000 Gross / month (depending on the contract type).
- Employment type: Full-time (Employment Contract / “Umowa o pracę”, Mandate Contract / “Umowa zlecenie”, or B2B).
- Availability: Immediate start.
