SYSTEM ENGINEER
Location: Warsaw
Main tasks:
- Take care of the system in all phases of its development: from concept and stakeholder needs analysis, through requirements and architecture definition, design, integration, verification, validation up to implementation and operations.
- Coordinate technical disciplines: mechanical aspects, electronics design, software, thermal and others; coordinate engineering teams of specific disciplines;
- Day-to-day contact with customers and other stakeholders; transform their needs into formal requirements;
- Solve technical problems during robotic systems integration and prototyping;
- Perform architecture and design trade-offs;
- Monitoring technical budgets;
- Perform system analyses
- FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery),
- FMEA / FMECA (Failure Mode Effect / Criticality Analysis),
- Reliability analysis.
- Plan and execute validation and verification activities, including test campaigns typical for space systems;
- Document abovementioned activities;
- Cooperate on daily basis with project managers:
- Configuration control,
- System level work logic planning,
- Prepare Product Tree,
- Prepare Model Philosophy,
- Manage technical work packages,
- Support on task management (using GitLab).
- Support Business Development Division in proposal preparations.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education,
- At least one year of experience as a Systems Engineer or related professional,
- Experience in aerospace projects as a Systems Engineer,
- Fluent English,
- MS Office Suite,
- GitLab, Jira, or other task management tool,
- Strong interpersonal skills,
- Good work organisation, independence, punctuality, creativity, and analytical thinking.
Nice to have:
- Experience or education in the space or aviation sector,
- Experience or education in robotics,
- Experience in multidisciplinary activities,
- Programming in Python, Matlab/Simulink,
- DOORS or other requirements management tool,
- GIT,
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment usage such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes,
- Basic knowledge of CAD software,
- ECSS standard,
- Willingness to travel occasionally,
- Knowledge in following areas:
- space environment,
- electric motors,
- operation and application of robotic sensors,
- embedded software,
- thermodynamics, heat transfer.
