🚀 First of its kind in the history of PIAP Space! 🌍

Today we completed the static load testing (Proof Load Test) of the GSE Clamp Band for the ROSE-L mission! ✅ This is a unique moment – this is the first device of its kind designed and tested at our PIAP Space test facility.

The tests carried out involved:

Fabio Micci – Product Assurance Manager (Thales Alenia Space Italy),

Alain Michel Bulkowski – Executive Performance Manager (Thales Alenia Space Italy),

Mateusz Krawczak – ROSE-L Project Manager (PIAP Space),

Jerzy Miguel Wrotek – Technical Leader (PIAP Space),

Robert Zawadzki – Mechanical Engineer (PIAP Space),

Grzegorz Tęczarski – Mechanical Engineer (PIAP Space).

This makes PIAP Space one of the few suppliers of Clamp Band for large satellites – another step towards the development of the space sector in Poland and Europe. 💪✨
