The Industrial Development Agency (IDA) is a state-owned, joint-stock company under ownership supervision of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The IDA supports business enterprises in operation and development of business activities, as well as in the implementation of restructuring processes, and plays a major role in increasing competitiveness of Polish industry.
The broad spectrum of support instruments includes both financial products and non-financial assistance in the implementation of projects, such as providing access to investment areas and production facilities within Special Economic Zones administered by the IDA. The Company also makes it possible for business partners to liaise in implementing innovative projects.
With years of experience and unique competencies in the Polish market, the IDA has developed an individual approach to the evaluation of projects, due to which it is able to recognise business opportunities in areas that others see as unattractive or too risky.
As part of the Polish Development Fund Group, the IDA cooperates with major Polish institutions supporting enterprises and provides comprehensive solutions in response to the current needs and challenges faced by businesses.
Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP – the Polish centre for automation and robotics was established in 1965. It specialises in the following fields: mobile robotics, industrial automation, technical solutions for public security, sensor and measurement systems, information technology. More than a hundred mobile robots designed and manufactured by PIAP operate in Europe, Asia and Africa.
PIAP employs about 340 people. PIAP specialists have broad, interdisciplinary experience in realisation of unique solutions in the field of information technology, environmental technologies, robotics, mechatronics, security, telemetry as well as artificial intelligence. Activities include the realisation of unique technical solutions and R&D work. PIAP’s quality management system is fulfilling the requirements of standards PN-EN ISO 9001:2009, AQAP 2110:2009 and WSK (Internal Inspection System).
