The UP! Student Conference, organised by the Student Council of the President of POLSA and JoinThe.Space, took place on 24-25 November.

“This is a great opportunity to learn about the latest research and developments in astronomy, astrophysics or space law, and to take part in interesting panel discussions with a number of speakers playing an important role in the popularisation of space knowledge.” – concluded the Student Council to the President of POLSA.

One of the panel discussions featured Łukasz Kozłowski – Technical Leader for Mechanical Engineering at PIAP Space. Among other things, Łukasz talked about how his career in the space sector started and what advice he has for students who are considering working in the space sector.

Rafał Baczewski – Junior Project Manager at PIAP Space – also took part in the conference.  Rafał moderated one of the panel discussions.
