Together with our partners from Spacive, we have successfully completed the testing campaign of one of the TITAN robotic arm actuators in a thermal-vacuum chamber.

The tests took place from 26.04.2024-13.05.2024 and included the execution under vacuum conditions:

• Thermal cycles at non-operational temperatures
• Thermal cycles at operating temperatures
• Functional and lifetime tests at extreme high and low temperatures
• Tests necessary for thermal model correlation (thermobalacing)
• The actuator survived the tests with no visible degradation and achieved the expected performance under every combination of test conditions.
